Coaches Needed for Georgia Housing

Officers Conference 2024!

Are you passionate about student housing? Do you have the desire to guide and inspire ​others in the field? Do you want to help individuals grow? If you answer yes to at least one ​of these questions, apply to serve as a coach at the upcoming Georgia Housing Officers ​(GHO) Conference. Prior coaching experience is not required to apply.

What is a coach?

• Someone who is willing to ask reflective questions
  
• Someone who helps others see opportunities for growth
  
• Someone who can assist others in their professional growth
  

Why volunteer as a coach?

• Network with Georgia Housing professionals
  
• Enhance your coaching and leadership skills
  
• Contribute to the development of future housing leaders
  

Role and Responsibilities:

• Attend a virtual orientation session to learn about the goals of the conference, meet ​the other coaches, and learn some coaching techniques
  
• Lead a group of 8-10 participants during the conference coaching sessions during ​the entire GHO conference
  
• Share knowledge and best practices in housing management
